Wrong clothes. Late shipping. No apology.

Wrong items included with shipment. FedEx showed the shipment sitting in a location 10 minutes from my home for 5 days. It arrived today. Said it shipped on 9/6. Attempted to get in touch with customer service. In a time where service is so important, the company has apparently made it a strategy to NOT deal with customer issues. To add insult to injury, they're charging $10.99 to do the return or I have to take a ecard. Why would I want that when I'd have to go through it again. Wish I'd read the reviews here before I purchased. Nope. This is a one and done experience where I'm 11 bucks in the hole.

Is there a less than 1 stat?

I used to love their stores. One line version... horrible. Worst customer service ever. Clothes are very cheaply made. Not the same quality they had in store. They come with seams not sewed, cheaper material, elastic bands crimped. Their return policy is crazy. You must pay $9.95 to ship back to them if you want a refund made to your original form of purchase. Customer service is rude. Look at the reviews on their Facebook page under community. Terrible company.

I Wish There Were Zero Stars For This Fraud Of a Company

These people are just awful. Recently they have decided to demand money from my 85 year old Mother that she does not owe them. Her account does not even indicate what they are demanding and we have the copies of the checks she sent these jerks for payment of anything we kept. They also fraudulently reported her to a credit bureau for crap she does not owe. Two women from Catherine's keep calling our house and demanding money like they are the mob or something in a very unprofessional and unfounded way. One creep will whisper to the other creep while they are on the phone. The quality of the clothing is crap. We returned about 95 percent of what we ordered and only kept two items. Please do not ever buy anything from these people. I think they are crazy or on serious drugs. You don't need the hassle or the crappy clothing. Thanks to them now we have to do a bunch of work to straighten out how they messed with Mom's credit. This business and the people in it deserve to fold.

Shipping nightmare

I was a loyal Catherine's customer for many years. But this will be the last time I purchase anything from them. Their shipping process stinks & their customer service isn't any better. I still don't know how or if I will ever recieve my order. No real tracking... because the site says USPS & keeps adding days to expected day of delivery, then the automated phone says its coming by Fed ex which has been in limbo with no date to expect delivery. So I called customer service & I get no answers... Can't canceled, can't get my money back. All I can do is keep waiting. It is unacceptable that you can pay the shipping charges they ask for & have it take this long with no actual tracking... who knows if I will I ever get it. Never ever again will I order from Catherine's!

Finally, a Pleasant Associate

Today around 7:00 PM, I visited the Lane Bryant in the Arlington Highlands, TX shopping center. Since they were in the middle of a clearance sale, the store was quite busy. I selected half a dozen items and headed toward the dressing room area. An LB associate greeted me, introduced herself as April and led me to a dressing room.

I decided to buy a jumpsuit and three blouses. When I arrived at the checkout, there were two associates manning the register. Each one had a customer. When one of them was free, I approached her. She said she was going to restock and left me standing there. The other associate continued with her existing customer. Just as I was getting irritated at being left high-and-dry by the associate, April came forward from the front of the store and offered to check me out. She was pleasant, interested in my choices and extremely professional.

This particular store is not known to have pleasant staff. April was a clear exception. She restored my good mood with her graciousness. She deserves a promotion!!

ZERO HORRIBLE NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN

They suckker you in, charge $10.99 for a return and auto enroll you in a $14.99 bull$#*! reward program.
There products are garbage and a waste of time.

One star just to be able to write a review.
Made a(for me) large order of $82. Some items arrived the rest never came. Asked for a refund. They started the process on June 6. And im still waiting!!! Worst costumer service ever. ( Unless the aim is to scare of clients, then they do great).
Keep writing emails to keep them working, now they don’t even reply.

What a headache

Not a viable online seller. Problems at ever step. Took 16 days for order to arrive. They gave it to USPS who held it for 5 days then gave it to FedEx ground who claimed to have unexpected weather delay of 3 days except tracking showed it was on a truck driving from Portland to Seattle, a 5 hour drive at a time it was clear and sunny. Ordered 4 items all way oversized and 1 item wasn't even what I ordered. Return hell was next. Wouldn't put it back on same card it was paid with, wouldn't ship the correct item, was told instant gift card credit if I took the item to one of their return stations. Credit never appeared so called and that was another lie now they say even though they have the item it will take a week for the credit. Meanwhile other items shrunk in length by 3 inches and are 4 inches bigger around than chart indicated. Now returning everything and never ordering from them or any of their group again.

Not Worth It

I purchased a swim top which did not fit. I paid $20.13. I sopke with a rude customer service agent who explained to send it back would cost me a $10.99 handling fee plus the cost to ship it back. What a rip off! It was my first and only order from this company.

Outrageous shipping and "processing" fees; crappy quality, long shipping delays

Don't waste your money with this company. Brought a $34.99 bra, terrible quality, off-sized by A LOT. It was supposed to arrive in about seven business days. It took two months to get the item. So, it costs $10.99 to ship and $10.99 to "process" the return of their crappy merchandise. That's $56.97 for an opportunity to purchase a poorly sized, very poor quality item. How they plan to stay in business with this business plan is beyond me. And to top it off, customer service is extremely rude.

I have a situation where I returned some items at a store that I had ordered on line. They were a few days past the 90 day limit because I'd had some issues that did not allow me to get out of the house and to the store. I was credited a fraction of what I had paid for them. I later called Customer Service to describe my circumstances, appeal and ask for the remaining credit. I was told I would receive a credit for the remaining amount and that it might take a couple of weeks to post. When it did not appear, I called Customer Service to inquire and was told there was no record of the credit and no record of my call. I was told again about the 90-day policy and told there was nothing that could be done about it. I have bought a fair amount of clothing from Catherine's since I discovered it a couple of years ago and have been very satisfied with both my purchases and the service. However, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I am unable to conjure up much interest in purchasing anything else. The credit would not be for a huge amount of money, but this has become a matter of principle for me. I feel that, if a representative of an organization tells a customer something will happen, the commitment should be honored. My question is ... how would I go about appealing this to a higher level where it might be resolved?

why do you cheat people with your credit card late fees. I received the bill in the mail after the due date, paid it when I received the bill in the mail and now have a $30 late fee on the $30 late fee I disputed. Is this a scam? Have other people had this experience?
